Disseminating Info Using Graphics Designs

The true value of graphics designs is very rarely understood. Whilst it has grown from being the virtual wrapping paper of high end products, graphic design’s true value is quickly being discovered and utilised by businesses across the globe.

Between 2015-2016, the use of visual content used by marketers increased 130%, with 53% of marketers saying that 91-100% of their content contained visuals, up from 40.5% the previous year.

Informing customers about your brand and it’s products/services is one of the primary uses of graphic design. This is down to the benefits visual content provides for retention of information.

When given information, the recipient is only likely to remember 10% of that information after a 3 day period. A relevant image paired with the same information increases retention to 65% of the information after a 3 day period.

Using graphics designs not only helps create a lasting impression of your brand, but also helps in ensuring that your informative content makes a substantial impact with its viewers.

Infographics are a form of visual content that break down complex information into a memorable and engaging way. This includes anything from a process that is undertaken by your company to a comparative breakdown of two or more products.
